West brom have bought the kid and now they dont play him, if he was at blues he would have gotten more games by now, and would have firmed up a place in the 16 that plays every week, feel sorry for him now, only hope that we might get him back some day.

If he isnt good enough, he isnt good enough - thats where the loyalty ends in professional sport.

He was good enough though, he scored 4 or 5 goals from midfeild, and that for a 20 year old local lad isnt bad.

Of coure id care, when he stepped over that white line id support him with all i had no matter what, the fact that he was a local lad, and a bluenose, only indeered him to that fans more, and him scoring the goal that got us into the premiership made him even more liked not to mention when we sang happy birthday to him. All fans love a local lad.

^^^game, set and match

Dunny and Izzet have been out for most of the season, he cudda got at least 20 starts under his belt by now if he was still with Blues.

okay we never knew Nafti, Izzet and Dunn would get injured, but he was a worthy back-up.

Carter used to have one good game and then three or four poor ones on the trot.

He had potential yet was never consistent enough for us - and now Albion.

He may come good one day yet if he's not good enough for the Baggies ....

Kilkenny is better.

For the fee we got for Carter in the summer I think we got a good deal on this one

Ok so what has Forssell done that is so brilliant this season. may be you should actually watch Izett before passing judgement on him.

In fairness, i have to say Izzet is a good player, when fit, but the fact that him coming into the season unfit and then throughout picking up injury after injury has only brought his rating down, carter at 20-21, who wasn't without premiership experience could easily have slotted into that midfeild when we've had to play Jamie clapham there or so many others that are not centre mids.

yeah i still think Izzet's a class player. obviously he's never been able to reach the peek that he got up to with Leicester but we all know that's because of the injuries :(

a player that helped his country to reach 3rd in the WC can't be THAT bad ;)

Actually i have watched him as well, but maybe just maybe i do not watch with a biased mind, Izetts problem is as soon as he can walk Bruce picks him to play wether he is 100% fit or not and to his credit Izett plays. but as a consequence he breaks down again and is out for a further lengthy period.

if you ask me there ain't enough Brummies in our side, if there was we wouldn't be in this mess, with steve bruce or not, ...imagine a team full of Brummies??? the fight would be incredible, we'd be kicking every ball with them.

To right, and we wouldnt be worrying about players contract half way through the season, because we know they would pay to play for that shirt.

Yeah well my opinion is that i dont rate Muzzy Izzet! Probably the same as you dont rate Mikael Forssell?!

This thing about Carter is amazing.

Bar one wonder strike a season what has he done the last two seasons at the top level ?

Nothing against him. I just feel he has had chances at Blues and Baggies to hold down a place and he hasn't done it yet.

He wouldn't of played any more for us this season based on his time up the road. Kilkenny is a better bet and would have still played in front of Carter even with all the injuries.

Izzet in the few games he has played this season has had more better games than a fit Carter has in two at thhs level
